Is the treatment painful? Comfort is a priority. For deeper treatments like Sylfirm X or EPN, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin prior to the procedure to ensure the sensation is manageable. Most patients describe a light vibrating or prickly sensation.
When will I see results? While a "post-treatment glow" may be visible within a few days, the true structural benefits occur as your collagen matures. You will typically see a progressive improvement in skin texture and firmness over 3 to 6 months, particularly after a recommended course of treatments.
What is the downtime? Downtime is usually minimal, typically involving redness and slight swelling similar to a mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours. With the addition of Exosomes, the redness often subsides much more rapidly.
Aftercare Guidelines
Avoid touching the face or applying any makeup for at least 12–24 hours post-treatment.
Cleanse the skin only with tepid water for the first evening; do not use active acids or retinols for 5 days.
Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 50 daily, as the skin will be temporarily more sensitive to UV light.
Refrain from strenuous exercise, saunas, or swimming for 48 hours to prevent irritation.
Sleep on a clean pillowcase and keep the treated area hydrated with the recommended post-procedure balm.
